ADSL Connectivity

ADSL allows your business to have an Internet experience up to 150 times faster than dial-up. As ADSL is transmitted on your normal phone line, you can be on the telephone (or using a fax machine) and be using the Internet at the same time.

  • Simplicity - Get Broadband, local calls, Mobile calls, STD calls, line rental and a data service from one provider.
  • Save on costs - By using existing telephone lines there is no need to invest in new, expensive infrastructure. You save further by using one line for both your voice and data services. Cynergic offers your business competitive call rates and savings.
  • Save on time and improve on productivity - Unlike the dial up service, your broadband service is permanently connected and has quicker speeds than your dial up (56Kb) service. No more drop outs, busy signals and constant re-dialing. You can spend your valuable time instead on building customer relations and developing your business.
  • A Network that you can rely on - Have peace of mind by being with a Tier 1 Grade Network that is technically advanced and fully supported.
  • No hidden charges - At Cynergic we are upfront, clear, simple and competitive with pricing. There are no hidden maintenance, support or hardware charges.
  • Dedicated support - At Cynergic we are committed to provide high service levels ensuring we use upstream service providers that are on call 24/7. And by using advanced systems that proactively monitors the network; we ensure that you can get on with doing business!
  • Flexible Data Packages - Data is not just Internet access. Virtual Private Networks (VPN) can also be used in conjunction with your ADSL connection. You can now be connected to the office when you're not physically there!

Residential Grade ADSL 2+

Reliable yet fast affordable Internet is now available to Cynergic customers. Our new ADSL2+ plans bring these ultra fast speeds to you.

How fast we hear you ask? How do download speeds of up to 20Mbit/s sound? All this is achievable from your standard phone line*. That’s an increase of over 40 times an existing 512Kbps ADSL connection.

ITU G.992.5 or ADSL2+ as it is also known, achieves its high speeds by effectively doubling the downstream bit rate by doubling the frequency band from 1.1 Mhz to 2.2 Mhz. The maximum connection speed of 24Mbit/s* will depend on a number of factors. These factors are primarily the length and quality of the phone line from the customers premises to the Phone Exchange and the ADSL modem you are using.

*Theoretical maximum connection speeds are 24Mbit/s downstream and 1.4Mbit/s upstream. Depending on how close you are to the exchange speeds can vary a lot. For example at 3km a speed of 5-6Mbit would be average.
