Enterprise SHDSL

SHDSL is recommended for organisations that generally upload as much data as they download. An SHDSL service is a business grade product and as such will have a far more strict SLA policy in place.

Enterprise Grade connection speeds range from 4Mbps/4Mbps to 8Mbps/8Mbps.

While most people understand what downloading data is made up of, the uploading of data may include:

• IP Telephony (the voice quality the person you are speaking with hears from your site)
• VPN connections to other office sites (including Data Centre Servers for backups etc)
• Remote Desktop services to offsite servers
• Large Email or Web transfers from In-house servers

   

SHDSL is a dedicated IP Connectivity product and although it runs over copper telephone lines cannot share a line together with other telephony services such as Phones or Faxes.
